I'm pretty excited about the show as well. Will still be in town working. John is playing the Circle Bar a scant two blocks from my house the next night, so will have a nice Moreland/Saints/moreland weekend

He's playing with Isbell soon too.

I would think Branan would be attainable for M+W. The Varsity seems like it would be too big for him. I don't how big of a room he usually plays though.

My favorite songwriter
The best solo live performer that I've ever seen.
He's done BR several times, last being at the Manship theatre Hartley vey with Audra Mae (her and Moreland both had songs on sons of anarchy)
I think mud and water would be a great spot for him. He's done Chelsea's, redstar, and the Manship in BR dating back to about 2005.
