Listening to a couple of tracks off of it. I like it, especially 'Missing Pieces".

not only original, but one of the best out there. and a great producer with mad respect for those who came before him. his musical knowledge is insane. look at what he did for Wanda Jackson and Loretta Lynn, just to name a few. dude's a G.

I'm referring to his 'persona', not his output, nor his considerable music history knowledge.
Anyway, the comment was a bit overboard, but I guess his prominence is due to the lack of competition in the artistic prowess + R&D departments these days.
