I was pretty excited recently when I found out that Jack White is playing Starkville in January. It's only about an hour drive from Tuscaloosa. I've never got a chance to see him live. Didn't a bunch of you guys see him live in Louisiana recently? How was his live show?

Yep. Saw him in Shreveport over the summer. One of the best live shows I've seen in a long time. Don't miss him.

Saenger show was great but I liked the White Stripes in 2007 much better

I also preferred White Stripes live to JW shows. I just liked the stripped down sound that he and an amateur drummer brought to the table. I also prefer the songwriting of the white stripes period to the solo stuff or even raconteurs, dead weather, etc.
However, if you've never seen him live you're in for a treat

Saw him in Shreveport. Great. He played for a really long time. New Orleans was an off show for him...he wasn't feeling it I guess.
