Album is incredible, every song flows into the next.
Pretty shitty the lead singer quit 4 days before it dropped, would have loved to see how they could possibly follow this up.
One of the best albums to come out in years IMO.
Anyone else a fan?

Yep, been listening to them for a little while. Really great sound.

Its hard to describe what it is, almost happy-sad if that makes sense.

Angst ridden melancholy
They remind me of a Dallas band from the early 2000's call Pleasant Grove

It is probably my favorite album of the year (in what has been a really strong three months).
The whole album is great, but that last three track stretch of The Place Where He Inserted the Blade, Snow Globes, Basketball Shoe is especially great/epic.

This album is still the best album of the year. Listening for the first time in awhile and it is so damn good.

I turned it off about 4 songs into it ... I just can't get into it...
I kinda hear that early 2000s arcade fire/wolf parade, but without the hooks... some of Sufjan Stevens who I'm not particularly fond of...
