By itself almost answers the OP - 736 weeks on the Billboard album chart before dropping off - that's 14 years and change. Bob Marley's Legend is second, and DSOTM almost doubles Legend's chart run.

yea, I agree but trying to show some diversity.
So many albums. So little time...

DSOTM re-entered the charts a while back when a remastered anniversary version was released. It now has been in the Top 100 for more than 900 weeks, altogether.

Rolling Stones:
let it bleed (1960s)
Exile on Main Street (1970s)
Tattoo you (1980s)
Steel wheels (1990s)
I’d argue the beggars banquet to exile run is the greatest series of rock albums of all time (1968-72) but then they followed that up by persisting for 45 more years

Wow, good work!
At first glance I'm surprised at how high Red Hot Chili Peppers and GNR are, and how low The Who and the Eagles are... Toto over Zep?
Never understood the popularity of GNR. What is their body of work....2 albums? Terrible vocals, competent guitar...nothing special.
Proud to see Joy Division on the list.
I wonder about the demographics of the average Spotify subscriber.
