I love watchin SRV youtube videos. Especially when he plays with guys like BB King, Albert King, etc.

That's so good. Glad there is a video catalog of some of his best. Watching the way he tears it up is great. Would have liked to have seen Bach rip up a harpsichord, but I think I might prefer to see SRV doing work on fender stratocaster.

As much as I love that performance of Texas Flood, my favorite is Tin Pan Alley with Copeland. It's unbelievable

The Texas Flood performance is better, even though that version of Tin Pan Alley is crazy good.

I have the live in Austin DVD as well. Voodoo child is fantastic on it.
Can't forget about Live in session with Albert King either. I've probably watched that 100 times.

What made stevie so great was he did that at every show or at least at the 3 I saw him play... My fav in person was when he played on The President in N.O... for you younger ones, the president was a ship or big arse boat that used to give tours up and down the riverfront in N.O and later was a concert venu

I'm only 23, so I definitely never had the opportunity to watch him. I couldn't be more jealous than I am of people that were lucky enough to see him live, and some of my other favorites for that matter (Jimi, Duane Allman, etc.). He's one of the reasons I play guitar though, and the greatest of all time, in my opinion. I'm just glad there are at least some really good videos to watch and appreciate.

Yes, that was a smoking performance. Some of SRV at his finest. Just pure raw attitude, passion, and some of the greatest, if not the greatest, tone ever.
