I am never in a situation where I hear any Keith Urban songs...where are you hearing all these songs?

You may not dig it, but at least Keith Urban has a shite ton of musical talent when compared to the other bro country yuppies. He is literally one of the best guitar players in that region of music, and he writes and records all of his own music. He also plays and sings from the heart which is more than 90% of the dipshits in Nashville do.

That "take your hat and leave my sweater" song is the only likable K.U. song I can think of at the moment.

IMO Keith Urban is one of the few remaining bright spots in country music.

He's not really country, though.

I don't really like his music, much but he is an excellent guitar player. His crossroads special with John Mayer is top notch. It's hard to find anything wrong with this collaboration.

John Mayer and Keith Urban - 'Til Summer Comes Around

John Mayer's solos in this. Jesus.

Keith Urban was that guy sitting around the fire with like one girl constantly strumming these chords singing love ballads while everyone else partied.

I mean, how much of that shite can one person take? It's just like, god, man. Get a new theme. Not everything has to be some inspiring shining star, most wonderful woman song.

I've had this same melt about Luke Bryan & more than half of the "country artists" out there.

John Mayer is such a waste of talent.

He's arguably one of the most talented young guitarists around and all he plays is whiney stupid waterdowned nonsense

Its not arguable whatsoever really. and clearly he prefers making the bubblegum bullshite, but I dont think hes a waste of talent because of it. Dude is fricking everywhere. hes laid riffs on so many different peoples shite its unreal. hes literally THE guy everybody goes to

Try listening to Keith Urban's music without classifying it into a genre. It might surprise you what you hear when you remove the "country music" label.

I agree that he doesn't fit the country mold. That doesn't mean he is "garbage." I can guarantee that he is not a "garbage" musician simply because he doesn't sound like George Strait from 30 years ago.
