the replacements for sure, but husker du is better IMHO. I found a lot of the replacements songs kinda boring and repetitive.

The Replacements are the iconic act for sure, but I probably prefer the Huskers. I go back and forth on that.
But the Mats are sort of the symbol for all 80s indie, along with REM.

Thats a hard one and the equivalent of asking a parent to choose between two children...
The Mats are one of my favorite bands, so I'll choose them... but that in no way diminishes the Huskers impact on rock music and me..
