My first concert was RATT at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport. It was unreal how loud shows were back in the 80’s.
Slight thread hijack but I'm super jealous of the generation before me in Shreveport. Y'all had so many great shows at the Hirsch. We were left with nothing

Yes, it was a great time back then in Shreveport for shows. Ratt/Britney Fox/Kix was my first show at 16 years old. Then Poison/Tesla 2 weeks later. Most of the big rock arena shows came through Shreveport back then. I just wish I could have seen the Metallica- And Justice for All tour show that came through with Queensryche opening. That is my biggest regret for missing a show. I later saw Metallica for the first time on the Black Album tour at the Hirsch as well. All the good rock shows at the Hirsch pretty much stopped in the early 90's & then it was mostly just country shows until they stopped having national touring acts there.

loudest concert I ever saw was Motorhead in a large club
Anybody I've ever talked to who went to a Motorhead show has talked about how loud they were. They're they band I most regret not getting to see. I was going to see them there near the end, but the show I wanted to go to was one of the ones that got canceled. Would love to have seen them in their prime.

First show was ZZ Top and I couldn't believe how 3 people could make that much noise.

ZZ Top was famous for a bit for having other musicians just off backstage playing along with them in order to fill their sound out.
