Anyone else dig them as much as I do?
Really like Innerspeaker and Lonerism and their music videos are entertaining as well.
Mind Mischief (NSFW probably)
Feels Like We Only Go Backwards
In my opinion they are the best band to come around in a while

I would say them and Titus Andronicus are my two favorite modern rock bands right now.

I like them.
I've been favoring The Black Angels if we're discussing that psychedelic rock vibe though.

Big fan of Tame Impala. I favor their album InnerSpeaker just a bit more than Lonerism. Here are some other bands you might check out if you're looking to explorer music similar to that genre. Should be enough to get you started anyway.
Unknown Mortal Orchestra
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Bass Drum of Death
Woods
Psychic Ills
Wooden Shjips
Ty Segall
Goat
Black Mountain
Dead Meadow
Atlas Sound
Deerhunter
Earthless
Allah-Las

I don't like them personally...something about them trying to sound all groovy and psychedelic like they time traveled here from the 60s annoys me.
I'm probably just weird.

so anything that sounds psychedelic in this modern age sucks because it sounds like it's from the 60's?

Lonerism and An Awesome Wave (Alt-J) were two of my favorite albums of last year.

Thats probably why I like them so much. They have that space rock sound that Pink Floyd did

No, because I have albums from and like some other bands that have older sounds to them...Tame Impala just doesn't do it for me. Sorry that I have a differing opinion than you, God forbid.

Don't be sorry. I didn’t respond to your post because you have a different opinion. Music is subjective we all take it in differently and you're encouraged to state your own opinion here. It’s your explanation for not liking them. You don’t like Tame Impala because it sounds like they “time traveled from the 60’s” one of the greatest and most innovative decades for music? That’s just an awful reason for not liking a band. I could understand your dislike for them more if you actually gave criticism to their music.
