I concur with your statement that the commercial hurts one's ears. It seems like it came on about 50 times yesterday during the various football and baseball games.
I wondered who the singer was that had such an atrocious, screeching, straining voice that made me want to cringe. Now, I know it's Kid Rock.
Now, I wonder who in the heck thought that song with that voice was suitable for an oft-repeated TV ad.

most diverse crow i have ever seen at a concert was at a kid rock show.
cowboys, hippies,metal heads,black,white, asian , hispanic, skaters...
and he performed for about 2 1/2 hours steady with no breaks.

I'm assuming that it's because there is a bit of comic relief in the whole Kid Rock shtick... He doesn't seem to take it too seriously...
