Has been replaced? Who has seen them in concert?

The Eagles were the first "oh shite" concert price I ever remember. That was back in 1994 I believe. When fans let you pound them in the arse, it's hard to stop I guess. That arse is always tempting.
Vince Gill is plugged in for Frey. He's a badass guitar player, but his voice ain't Glenn Freys. I don't see how the harmonies can be replicated without Frey? Either Frey or Henley out takes the bulk of that sound away. Who sings all of Freys songs?

Saw them this summer at the Classic East show. Gill takes the ballads and Deacon takes the rockers for the most part. Both did well. As someone who took over the family business, Deacon stepping in for his Dad pulled at the heartstrings. I would have never known it was his 2nd show with the band.
I didn't know Gill was in Pure Prairie League. He definitely can sing harmony.

Vince Gill has always had a tremendous tenor voice, and is a certified badass on the guitar.

I find it grating. But that's just me, I see what youre saying. Does he sing "I Can't Tell You Why?" and the last note of Take it To The Limit?

Timothy B. Schmit sings "I can't tell you why".
I imagine he did the high part on "Take it to the limit" as well.
I could be wrong about "Limit", but I know Schmit is still touring with them, so he would surely sing "Why".
And yes. I called you Shirley.

I love the Eagles but anyone who pays the equivalent of a mortgage payment to see a band at a Stadium that has ONE original member left needs to have their head examined. I am saying this out of love people. I admit the Eagles are one of the greatest bands to ever come out of America. Enough is enough Don Henley. End this money grab NOW.

Schmit and Walsh have been members of the group for 40+ years, considering the success and amount of material they contributed during their tenure it hardly seems to matter that they were not there the first 4 years of the group.

Before he passed away George Harrison was once asked about a Beatles reunion. His reply "As far as I'm concerned there won't be a Beatles reunion as long as John Lennon remains dead."

Yep, they should be called "Eagle".
...although Vince Gill is actually a better guitar player than Joe Walsh right now.

I thought for sure they'd bring back meisner felder and leadon if they were still gonna tour after glen Frey died

Just listening to the sirius concert they did at the Rymen, the harmonies on Henleys leads suffer without the high full voice tenor of Glen. Still almost perfectly sung though.
I'll be seeing them in July.

Seen the Eagles at least 8 times. Enjoyed everyone of them. With one original member, won't be seeing them for the 9th time.
