This is a Great Album released on April 12,1994.

I had forgotten that it was released one week after Cobain died. That’s kinda eery and weird.
Pitchfork Article - pretty good article

All tracks are written by Courtney Love and Eric Erlandson,[a] except where noted

(I always thought that Billy Corgan helped write it.)
So many rumors swirl this album. I just have a hard time believing Courtney wrote those songs.

I know it is a silly, commercial, mainstream thing to say, but I prefer Celebrity Skin. The title track and Malibu is all I ever need from that band.

And just 2 months before the bass player, Pfaff, would die of a heroin overdose.

I enjoyed a few songs off Celebrity skin too. Kinda forgot she has a couple good albums.
This is the album Billy Corgan worked on.

Celebrity Skin is a great song, might be my fav of hers (and Violet)

I mean, you know that Corgan has cowriting credits on 5 of the tracks on Celebrity Skin (including Celebrity Skin and Malibu) and played bass on 2 of those tracks (Hits so hard and Petals), right?

He does not have an official credit on Live Through This, although I have little doubt he did some work there.

Are you maybe confusing these two albums in your mind? (ETA: Without a doubt, Violet was inspired, at least in part, by Love's relationship with Corgan.)

Billy Corgan wrote 4 or 5 songs on Hole's next album. Cobain sang backing vocals on 2 songs on this album.

Hole's guitarist recorded some demos with Kurt about a week before he died, at his house. They've never been released.

There was like a 2 week period of time where Courtney Love had her s together and she actually looked pretty hot. The Malibu video is evidence of that. I still love that song.

My understanding was Billy Corgan basically wrote one album and Gavin Rossdale the other.
