They'll be at the smoothie king center?

Shouldn't they be headlining at some Indian casino or whatever?

I really wish I was, but going see my boy Anthony Jeselnik at the Civic Theater instead. Should be a good show though.

Awesome. Tickets weren’t expensive either. Nice little Thursday night out.

Playing the Smoothie King Center seemed overly optimistic of them.

Saw them a couple years back. Darryl Hall was noticeably an a-hole. To the point I found it awkward. He'd be playing and in a break in the lyrics just turn and berate the roadies. I'm sure something was screwing up, but he was straight up cursing people out on stage multiple time for different things. Then he'd turn back to sing with a smile like we all couldn't just see that, Haha.

Yeah. Especially considering I saw them at House of Blues 15 years ago. It usually works the other way around.

It did seem overly optimistic, but from some pics and video I saw, they actually had a good crowd in there. For an 80s band, that's really good.

I think they thought having Train on the bill would spark bigger crowds. Frankly, I was kinda disappointed in Train.

The floor seating was full, as expected. But if you looked around the arena, the club sections and upper sections had a lot of patches of empty seats. Overall, I’d say the place was (optimistically speaking) 2/3 full. And you could tell walking in that the attendance would be kind of light...no lines to get in.

I was disappointed for them. It was a little bit of a letdown after seeing The Eagles pack the house the week before.

They still have a solid career, and they're good live. crackerjack band.

And, as usual, they delivered Thursday night.

Again, I think following so closely on the heels of The Eagles the week before kind of hurt attendance a little.
