Watched Pawn Stars the other night where a Gibson 38' acoustic came in. All I really have is the typical Guitar Center instruments that they forgot to put too high for my fumbling idiot hands. Your standard $3000 ranged Gibson, Taylor, or Martin. One Gibson I BELIEVE was $4995?

My step dad has a custom made classical guitar from Spain. I'm afraid to ask him how much it cost.

my cousin has a '39 gibson. it's really nice. worth a ton.

I've played a few pre-war Martins....one that a buddy found in his grandfathers attic after he passed. It was a small body Martin but had that big, booming Martin sound. I've also played a pre-war 1930's Gibson Mandolin that a friend owns. And I've played countless old guitars at Guitar Shows.

1941 Martin D-28. Rather unfortunate, actually, as no other acoustic I've owned or played has measured up. I'm about to put some money down on a Martin, for sure.
Also, a friend of mine's father owns an original '64 Stratocaster that has an outrageous tone. I'm a strat guy, though.

Call me what you want....but a Spector Legend 4 series Korean made I think is what it's called. I play it to this day. It's a bass though.

My old guitar teacher's 1960's Miguel Rodriguez. One of the best classical guitars ever made by one of the best luthiers.
