Here tonight. Great week of music for me and my wife. Bonobo Monday, Pretty Woman Tuesday, Goose tonight, Spoon tomorrow. Can't ask for much more in life :)

quote:Totally agree. They combine the best parts of several jambands over the last 30 years. It's hard to not get locked in with the lead guitar player.

Went to spoon last night at toulouse theater. What a great venue - super small. Spoon was fantastic. Maybe 1.5 hours tops. First time seeing them and would probably go again if it worked out.
That was a weird crowd and that is saying something coming from a jamband guy who likes the biscuits :) The opening band (Glove) might have been the worst band I've seen live. Freaking weird stuff. I was starting to get worried about spoon after that opening band.

Show started out okay, the lights were phenomenal
Music sucked, nothing but Lullabies and love songs. However we left 30-45 after they started so maybe it got better

I thought Friday night Goose was great. I don’t really know their songs, but the jams were fantastic and uplifting. Very reminiscent of Phish, but distinct enough to not be a knockoff.

Great shows, I only made it out to Thursday's show (wish I could've done both). Both are up on Nugs now.
