Shame it was at the casino. Oaklawn. Seems they always cut the show short so they can get the audience into the casino and get some money back.

I spent most of my life in Tempe and saw them soar from a bunch of kids. Jesse Valenzuela is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. So happy for this band.

The lead singer has had some substance abuse demons for a while, hasn't he? Glad they all have their shite together these days. Their sound was so much a part of my '90s high school experience.

Jesse always seemed to enjoy playing for his native state. Saw them in Tempe and Phoenix and in Huntsville, AL among other places. Jesse co-wrote the theme song for Corner Gas, one of my fav Canadian comedy sitcoms.
