Apparently I’m tired enough to where I thought today is Saturday. But yes. Those two are absolute studs. Perkins may be my favorite OM recruit all time. He’s just been awesome and OM through and through.

Anybody think a better route was to fair catch, take it at the 25, get a quick out route / timeout, then throw one deep hoping for a DPI call or reception or use that as the time for a multiple lateral situation? UGA had 2 TOs. Idk. Just curious. Or was running it out the best option?

Edit: with the goal being to hit a long 55-60 yd FG and force OT

Just did an encore rewatch after an exhausting Saturday. I can’t agree more. They were right there. How doesn’t UGA get it in there??

Glad you’re okay. Was about to put out a wellness check on you and Jack Traven (still a little worried for they/them). Talked a bunch of shite but I guess vaporized.

Just realized.. what a stand at the end by the defense. If UGA scores there it is most likely over. We would have needed a TD for the win as a FG would have left us one point short. And let’s be honest.. that was a pretty elite UGA offense from a personnel standpoint. Fully capable of going the 8 yards or whatever in three shots. Branch is an elite receiver and arguably the best in the country. Colbie Young pretty elite. Oscar Delp an elite college TE. Nate Frazier Jr. was playing physical football making ten yard gains look easy at times. So to look back and see that stop after two DPI penalties is pretty wild. This defense deserves credit. They stepped the hell up in the 2nd half and at the end when it counted.
