Someone told me GB played for 4 hours for the 1030 show. Can anyone confirm this?

That's pretty cool. At that level you are only really required to play 60 minutes if you have an opening act. Always depresses me when the artist is fortunate enough to be at that level but not love the music or songs that brought them there.

From what I heard, not quite 4 hours.

Buddy told me they got started a little after 11pm and ended around 2am.

Just got back from tonight's show. Garth went on about 8:05 and finish at about 10:50. It was just song after song after song with a little Trisha Yearwood thrown in the middle. Incredible show. And his opening act was as good of an opening act as I've ever seen.

I've always figured that a two hour show is perfect so that there is time to play the hits and also some other gems that the true fans love. Anything past that and it becomes too long.

Nothing felt too long about the show last night and he was pushing 3 hours. I don't think I've ever been to a concert where the main act went so hard for so long and the crowd stayed with them the whole time. The only time there was a lull was when Trisha Yearwood came on in the middle but you could tell it was a good break for the audience.

i cant think of the last arena tour that was 60 minutes and would be terribly disappointed. the only time ive seen headline shows that tight are when its a very young band with just 1 record out and headlining clubs still.

If there's anything worse than homogenized country music, it would be FOUR DAMN HOURS of homogenized country music.
