I'm such an idiot. I had a pre-sale code but didn't check my email bc I was busy with life and I completely missed the pre-sale. Then I logged on at 2:50 am for tickets to London show, got stuck in queue just to get on the website to wait in the next queue, so I gave up. Slept in next morning and got on computer around 1 pm only to notice that they were still selling tickets all morning. Got on ticket master and actually found some tickets at wembley, and when i added to cart they were gone and a notification came on the site saying that all shows were officially sold out.

Very piss poor effort on my part lol. Oh well, I'll get them on secondary market for an arm and a leg. (And no, I'm not worried about the anti-scalping policy. Zach Bryan "tried" that as well recently. I wish them mad luck in enforcing!)

Ticketing is going to be a shitshow for this

Complete understatement. This was a Taylor Swift level shitshow.

I didn’t. Woke up at 340am to get in queue. I was like 200k in line. Went back to sleep. I think by the time I finally got in, it was sold out. That was around 11am. The queue to get in a queue was a pretty “wtf” moment. Hopefully they announce more dates.

Congrats on getting tickets mate

I saw a handful or so of tentative US dates listed for next summer including Chicago in late August. Seems like a great time to finally visit the Windy City.

I saw them in 1998 at the Fox theater in Atlanta. Pretty solid show, they played almost the entire Be Here Now album but also plenty of hits from the first two albums.

They were supposed to play the Omni in 1996 but Liam quit for two weeks right before the unplugged show on MTV in which Noel was excellent.

No. I got a code the first time but didn't check my email in time and missed the pre-sale. Didn't get a code the second time. Still don't have tickets. Will most likely buy tickets thru Viagogo closer to one of the shows.

Word is that US tour dates are getting announced on Friday. Look for shows in NYC, Boston (Patriots stadium), Chicago (Soldier Field) and LA (Rose Bowl or SoFi), and Toronto. Will be one - two dates at each stadium (depending on demand).

There's still about 13 million people remaining without tickets. Ticket master and livenation better beef up the servers if they want to avoid another shitshow lol.

Its amazing to me how we let Live Nation run the music world. I know people are suing them but that isnt going to do anything anytime soon.

We need an Elon or someone with some money to develop a competitor.

I wonder if people from the UK will travel to the US gigs.

Given that so much of the response online from the US was “what’s the big deal, they were one hit wonders,” not sure there will be stadium like demand in NY and Boston.

There were over 14 million people from over 160 countries that were trying to get tickets for the UK shows. Only 1.3M or so succeeded. And both NYC and Boston are fairly accessible to the UK. I imagine demand will be thru the roof again, especially since noone knows whether there will more shows anywhere else outside of US and UK.

I didn’t realize the scope of countries in that number. I know the UK was gridlocked.

All the UK soccer coaches at my kids club here in Florida can’t believe I got tickets as it was such a mess for their families back home. Almost feel guilty with how smooth it went here..almost
