13 Songs is such a great album (as are all their albums). It's amazing to think this album came out in 1989. It was just so ahead of it's time.

One of my very favorite bands, and easily the best show I've ever been to in my life. Also, they ended on a perfect note: The Argument is, IMNSHO, their best album.
MacKaye has aged well, too. Check out the Evens, his current band. A lot more mellow, befitting a 50 year old. Still, you can hear the Fugazi tension behind every song.
