looks like the Stones ran away with this one. I respect the Stones but I like The Beach Boys a whole lot more

Beach Boys for me. Their later output after Pet Sounds is actually really good. Sunflower, Surf's Up, Wild Honey, and Smiley Smile are all good albums though with hit and miss songs.
