None of the people on that list exist without The Fab 4....the end.

I wouldn't have that exact order obviously, but I don't find that list too bad honestly.

This "Rock Band" started in 1965 and was still closing shows like this video just a few months ago.......Listen to this for 8 minutes and you tell me if they dont belong in this so called 30 best list. The back half of this song is Rock n Roll.

It’s a list. Not sure why Hendricks is so high up they don’t have much of a catalog. I never Thought of Metallica as a rock band. More hard rock and Heavy Metal (same as others outside of top 10. AC/DC fits. It’s funny cause they are a blues band and its core. Anyway no issues just my take on a couple of my favorites listed top 10.

Yea, it's the Beatles and then everyone else.

The order after them really doesn't matter.

However, I can't take any "top 10" list seriously that doesn't contain the Kinks and The Who.

Any list that doesn't have The Beatles #1 is utter and complete shite.

Queen shouldn't be in the top 10. Replace them with Creedence Clearwater Revival. There should be no argument about this.

I'd expect retardation like this from a known troll like gaucho, but you're actually serious I'm not sure if I've seen a more incorrect statement on this board. Like it's not possible to be more wrong of you tried.

To say that the suit wearing moptop "twist and shout" beatles made the same music as the acid taking long hair Beatles is just...i mean wow.

Flip Zeppelin and the Beatles. But they’re the clear top 2 in my view.

The Stones and Pink Floyd are the next two. Not sure which order
The last GREAT Stones album was Some Girls. Some early Floyd is unlistenable

Queen is too high. They got disco-ish in the 80s. They’re still top 10 though.

U2, The Who, and The Beach Boys should make the top 10.

Eagles belong too IMO

Guns and Roses makes 10

1)Beatles
2)Stones

Then probably ...
The Who
The Kinks

Zep, Queen and Floyd don't make the top 10

As a matter of fact, Queen doesn't make the top 50

Seems like there's a recent trend (within the past 10 years or so) to put Queen a lot closer to the top than they have ever been in these rankings. It seems it used to be almost universally acknowledged the big 5 were Beatles, Stones, LZ, Floyd, and The Who in some order.

You had to be an English band to rank highest...

The "rules" for how they picked this list specifically excludes solo acts, like Billy Joel or Elton John.

With that criteria, The Jimi Hendrix Experience should've been excluded.

It was really just a Hendrix solo project with a backing band. Even the other members agreed.
