Foo Fighters Back and Forth Doc

This was really good. I liked that they spent a good 12 minutes on Nirvana. I never realized Pat Smear used to be in Foo Fighters. It was great seeing the revolving door of band members and how they stuck together over the years.

I think it was a dick move by Dave to re-record the drum parts behind the drummer's back. Then he told him he's good enough enough to tour but not good enough to record. Made him sound like a real a-hole there.

Pat played with them at JazzFest. Pretty sure he's back with them.
Great Documentary too.

It was an interesting doc. Hearing how the drummer got butthurt over Dave recording and touring with QOTSA was kind of lame, imo.

Pat Smear
I bet he's gotten a lot of shite over the years with that name

I know Pat is married and has a kid but he comes off very effeminate. I never knew Nirvana was always supposed to be a 4 person band until this. The closest they ever came to breaking up was a 2 month break. That is almost unheard of in music. When they were looking for a new bass player, why didn't he consider Krist Noveselic?

I watched the documentary a while back, but didn't the foo fighters bassist quit for only like a day or two? They were looking for a guitarist to replace his childhood friend and then they found their current guitarist. Am I right?

The guitarist from Scream joined briefly.
