I like it alot. Midnight Organ Fight was my favorite album of 2008.

Love the band, but haven't gotten the new one yet. Hell, I still need to get the State Hospital EP.

I think you will be a big fan of it. Not as good as TMOF, but better than Winter of Mixed Drinks IMO.

I don't think I would classify them as a folk band though. They certainly have some folk tendencies, but I find the majority of their songs are too anthemic to be called folk.

You're right. Nonetheless, I see bands that are half synths referred to as indie folk all the time.
You like Lumineers? You'll love Grizzly Bear! It is really hard to get solid recommendations in folk.
On subject, I like the new album a good bit.
