Looks like a lot of people were at the show.

Went last night as well and he was incredible. Great crowd especially the second set when he got to the stuff the crowd was most farmiliar with.
I thought the "Sailor's" portion of the show was outstanding and it's always great to get to hear an artist interpret his whole album in order live.
Whole thing made even better by EasyTiger who sold his tickets through the board for face rather than take all the money he could have gotten in the secondary market!
I saw stuff getting listed on stubhub for 150 plus and they were actually selling.

My FIL shared the In Bloom cover with me... Awesome. Without listening to any other tracks I bought the album on vinyl. It is great. I love all of it and the horns are awesome.

I am officially in love with this record. I've played it about 10 times. It is going to get nominated for a grammy, I have no doubt. It'll likely get nominated under the Americana category, but still. Early candidate for Album of the Year.
Cough cough

It is by far the least country of his work so far. You were right in that it should have been in another genre. Sturgill has kinda transcended "country" at this point.
