Not only my favorite live album, but likely my favorite album of all time:

(Grateful Dead - Europe 72)

I'm sure a few more will come to mind...

I saw them at the Sam Houston Coliseum in summer of '79. Found this when trying to find that show.

Edit: Have to add this one as well:
Billy Joe Shaver - Unshaven: Shaver Live At Smith's Olde Bar

This guy wrote the manual for Outlaw Country.

You are seriously channeling something. I love Billy Joe and I have seen Dale Watson sing this song about him at Smith's.

Where do you want it?

Dan Fogelberg ... My Dad tells the story about seeing him open for ZZ Top in Monroe in the mid 70's. It was in the Theatre, not the Civic Center arena and the crowd was about half bikers waiting to hear ZZ.

He said when Fogelberg came out with nothing but an acoustic guitar and a stool that a majority of the crowd starting booing and razzing him.

By the time he was finished, he got a standing ovation. Amazing talent.

It's Too Late to Stop Now-Van Morrison (my favorite album of all time)
Waiting for Columbus-Little Feat
Alchemy-Dire Straits
Blow Your Face Out-J. Geils Band
Stop Making Sense-Talking Heads
Live at Ronnie Scott's-Jeff Beck
The Live Anthology-Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
Live at S.U.N.Y.-Stony Brook-Allman Brothers
Rock of Ages-The Band
Live at the Fillmore East-Derek & the Dominoes
Running on Empty-Jackson Browne
Garcia Live Volume 4-Jerry Garcia Band
The Keystone Collection-Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders
Winterland '73-Grateful Dead
Crimson, White, and Indigo-Grateful Dead
View from the Vault 4 Soundtrack-Grateful Dead
The Grateful Dead Movie Soundtrack-Grateful Dead
Dick's Picks Volumes 5, 10, 15, and 31
Dave's Picks Volumes 7, 11, and 13
Sunshine Daydream-Grateful Dead
Freak and Roll in the Fog (something like that I probably don't have the title exactly right)-Black Crowes
Live at the Greek Theatre-Black Crowes & Jimmy Page
Live Bullet-Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band
Live at the Hammersmith Odeon-Bruce Springsteen
From Here to Eternity-The Clash
Live at Shea Stadium-The Clash

I'm probably missing a Grateful Dead album or twenty. I can't match dates with locations off the top of my head on a lot of their albums. Just on the Europe 72 tour alone I would recommend the first Paris show, the last London show and shows at Newcastle, Copenhagen, and Rotterdam.
