Let’s be real here. This was like 60% Em. We all know what that man is capable of. But that was still enough to end poor Kelly’s career.

Some of the ones saying the response wasn't very good aren't looking deep enough into the lines.
The first 3 bars are about shooting someone and the last line is supposed to be read as "hold still" and "hold steel," implying that MGK acts tough and doesn't even have a gun.
Read '02 as O2 and it means oxygen, which you need to burn things.
Reads as "nothing changed but the LOX" which Jadakiss was a member of. Of course it also reads as written, saying nothing's changed but the locks in rap, and Eminem is still in possession of the key. Also, Jade is the middle name of Eminem's daughter Hailie who MGK mentioned to start this whole feud.
Him and I is a song Halsey and G-Eazy did together. A few lines down is the "Gerald (G-Eazy's real name) is balls deep inside of Halsey" line, because MGK tried to date Halsey after the two broke up but she ended up getting back together with G.
There are tons more, but this song's far from weak.
quote:
Ho, chill, actin' like you put the chrome barrel to my bone marrow
Gunner? Bitch, you ain't a bow and arrow
Say you'll run up on me like a phone bill, sprayin' lead
Playin' dead, that's the only time you hold still

Luxury, oh, you broke, bitch? Yeah, I had enough money in '02 To burn it in front of you, ho

The game's mine again and ain't nothin' changed but the locks
So before I slay this bitch I, mwah, give Jade a kiss

Biggest takeaway from this is that it’s a good Eminem song. Nothing sounds forced, beat is good. I like it.

I see this marketing ploy is going over well

Lyrically it’s good. As far as musically, not so much. I like the song a “Stan” did called PacMan. It’s corny, but it’s funny.

That's because MGK is getting more attention in losing this beef than the rest of his career has gotten.
This will be a net positive for MGK, even as he loses, because no one thought he was on Eminem's level to begin with.
MGK had nothing to lose and Eminem really nothing to gain. That said, Eminem's track is clearly better.

Em's track is called Killshot. and says hes only doing this once like he bodied it. thats a joke on both levels. Is it decent? yes. The most i see anybody giving em is a slight edge
Nobody is saying this is over and ALOT of people were expecting an easy knockout. Kelly is definitely out shopping beats or laying a track right now
That said, im not really invested in this

I think it's just you and Dawg4lyfe in only giving Eminem a slight edge. MGK did fine, but Eminem was on a different level.
it really is. just look up polls where people vote on who won and the lowest percentage is like 74% people saying eminem won. they highest is like 94% of people saying eminem won.
the top strawpoll on google said eminem 187 votes to mgk 27 lol
