I have at least some modicum of respect for the composers of EDM, even more so for those who do so without relying on "sampling" other artist's work. They are today's composers, except rather than making that composition and turning it into sheet music to be played by interpretive musicians, they run it through MIDI and play it through their computer. I don't have much respect for EDM "performers" as they are, as so many have characterized, basically just pushing buttons and jumping up and down. However, EDM is not bereft of value as a musical genre even if I don't really care for it. What I would love to see is accomplished EDM composers do like what a high school friend of mine did once: turn a piece they composed into sheet music and have it played by a concert band. It sounds absolutely incredible that way.

Most of the big name dj's produce their own music, that takes skill and talent.
The "button mashers" are just your local small time dj's. It's no different from the kid that was spinning hip hop at a club or house party in the 90s.

saw some doc recently and it blew my mind what they're payin some of these DJs.
I don't really get the EDM thing at all, but its hardcore followers seem to be really fricking weird. They seem to really believe its some type of special movement.

Good thing, because I would have sex with your daughter I probably would opt for no rubber.
Also, you are quite terrible.
Also, somebody's like or dislike of a genre of music doesn't affect my ability to trust them. But if soembody loves jam bands, I know for sure that him and I are not ever gonna friends. And I'll also know that if push came to shove, I could kick hat guy's and it probably wouldn't be close.
Country sucks too, but I can be friends with a guy who likes Country. Jam bands, nah.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that MidnightVibe might be clinically insane...
