Honorable Mention on Chad Berndtson's JamBase 10 Favorite Shows of 2013.
It's from 12/18 but still good to see them on JamBase

That is great and all, but it looks like the band's worst nightmare is coming true. Supposedly they don't want to be pigeonholed as "that funk band from NOLA who covers Daft Punk" but it appears that is happening.
This could be a critical moment for the young band. Will they choose to focus on original material, or embrace their status as diplomats of the world's most infamous french house duo?

It seems they are doing both pretty successfully right now. They are touring as Earphunk, throwing some Daft Phunk shows in there. I really dig their original stuff.
After their very successful Wakarusa Daft Phunk set- they are probably more well known for Daft Phunk currently on the national level. I'm sure if they can get on some top Festival lineups this year as Daft Phunk they should do that to capitalize on their popularity.

You gotta start somewhere. If they can work on their lyrics they can be great.

I vote for this, so they can be shelved next to the Molly Ringwalds and Bag o' Donuts... done and dusted!

Just change the name to Bag O' Molly

Pretty sure they are done with Daft Phunk after the Varsity show.
