I listen to it when I am jogging or on drugs and I love it, but I guess the stuff that I really like wouldn't exactly be considered dubstep. I don't know. I really like some of the electronic stuff and some of it sucks really bad. I usually enjoy the dubstep sounding bands that actually involve musical instruments. There's a few dj's that I like a lot. Some are genius. The majority of them give the good ones a bad name.

This is my main problem with this stuff There is no skill to this stuff someone that had never known anything about it could follow someones computer instructions and have a "song" in a few min. Its like people got carried away with a sound effects machine

That's where you're wrong... It takes a very wide understanding of music theory, composition and arrangement to be able to write music.. even if it's on a computer. Just because the basslines are heavy and filtered doesn't mean it's not in a key, because it is. Those videos are to help people understand how to learn and use the programs, which are extremely complicated.
Think you can do it yourself? Give it a shot.

it is not easy and takes years to master both the production side- computers and equipment like drummachines and synths, as well as the dj side.
granted kids these days have it easy with mp3 and one button mixing but i am talking about 2 turntables and crates of vinyl thats mixing thats real djing

Getting an actual production quality, interesting track out takes a shite load more than what's in that video. By your line of thought any garage band with the requisite physical instruments can do the exact same thing. So now anyone that performs with a guitar and drums has "no skill?"

I not saying any one could be creative or make something that people want to hear.
All I am saying is that anyone could follow the steps/clicks that guy is doing and having something that would be identical.
I know it would take a lot of time to learn to master any computer program and have a good knowlege of what each knob does. I mean there are some complex things on excel that not everyone can do

no. anyone can follow directions and come up with a track. you have to be good to be good though. Most of the good ones studied music in depth at the graduate level.
