Dolly Parton's "Coat of Many Colors"

This is an absolute perfect country western song. It has meaning, deftly tells the story and is beautifully sung from beginning to end. It's impossible to hear this song and not get the feels. Her guitar picking is wonderful as well. The resonance of her voice sells the emotions of pain and pride. Whenever this pops up on my shuffle I have to listen to it multiple times.

Here is a live version that is a bit different, but her voice is even more magical. Just a stunning piece of work that I don't ever get see mentioned very much if at all.
Oh, and to abide by the board rules:

The Muscle Shoals Documentary, gives this song a lot of attention. It was a big deal to Rick Hall.
