Dolly Parton humbly declined the nomination because she isn't "rock & roll"
But yea, the R&R Hall of Fame need to be renamed the Music Hall of Fame.

Nothing at all against Dolly Parton but the Rock and Roll HOF should be called something else because they are letting numerous artists in who are not rock artists. Which if that is what they want to do fine but maybe they should just call it the Various Musical Artists HOF

Dolly Parton is not a rock act. A country/pop crossover act? Sure. Not a rock act.
Pat Benetar is certainly in the same broad discussion of legendary rock and roll chicks - from The Mamas, to Joplin, Ronstadt, Blondie and Stevie Nicks.
Aren't all those others in the HOF? Then Benatar belongs. Period.

Agreed. Benetar should be in!!! I don't know what the hold up is. Dolly is in the country music hall of fame where she rightfully belongs.
