Didn't he write Alive Again also?

I've Been Searching So Long could be their best song.

Probably not. Early Chicago is criminally underrated.

Saw him in an interview recently on YT.
He is one cocky, self absorbed dude. I'm a fan of his music but could not help to notice.

At least before Terry Kath died. The soul and grit of the band died when Terry Katy died.

When I saw them live a few years ago, he absolutely stole the show. I don’t think there’s another trombone player in the world I could say that about.

Can't hear this song and not think of the Piedmont Club's back-to-school dance in the '70's.

Always lots of credit to TK, and rightly so. Daniel Seraphine was the original drummer, and a real bad arse.

Even before he died it seemed like they were moving away from their best shite and going 100% soft.

Then they get pissed at Seraphine for being unable to keep them on tempo or whatever (can't remember the exactly reason they fired him) when in reality he probably didn't want to keep playing that slow as shite either. The death of Kath, leading in to the collaboration with David Foster, and then culminating with the firing of Seraphine were the end of Chicago as far as I'm concerned. That was a shitty 10 year period.

On a somewhat related note, I've got tickets to see Leonid & Friends in Atlanta at the end of the month. I've been waiting a while to see them live...would have seen them a couple of years ago if not for COVID cancellations.

Chicago was one of the rare bands where most of the members could both write songs and sing.

Feelin' Stronger Everyday (without horns)

Check out these basic tracks of the guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. You can really hear all Terry's guitar work that gets buried in the mix with the horns. Terry, Peter, and Robert also sing a line from Jumping Jack Flash towards the end that is hard to hear in the final mix
