so you can't hate rap without being racist?

When I listen to the depth of emotion in great soul I curse rap for destroying black music. rap is a "music" without vulnerability, without love -- thug lyrics set to a monotone frickbeat.

When I think of all the rap I've heard that is nothing of the sort, it makes me wonder how someone who portrays himself as being so knowledgeable about things music related could make a statement so utterly mistaken.
