Lets face it,for as bad as a rep that Phish fans have for drug use, 99% of a Bisco crowd is on some sort of (or in most cases multiple) substance.
Also, "Brownie" is a douche. Barber can shred, but also is pretty lame. I did,however,enjoy his side project Kick Rocks.

I saw them here in Cleveland in 09 I think. I still have the hot air balloon>gangstar>I Man> hot air balloon on my phone. shite rips.

I identify more with Colorado bisco fans cause I used to live there. I preferred them over phish fans. Phish fans are less sketchy but more on the fratty douchy side. It's funny how trey keeps making this a phish thread.

Fact is Bisco based their whole shtick off of Phish. Their first shows contained a bunch of Phish covers.
My whole thing with Bisco is that for the past 6 or 7 years their fans keep saying "they are on FIRE right now and about to explode" yet they NEVER have gotten huge, they keep playing the same sized venues (never made the jump to arenas) and most importantly the jams have stayed the same. I'll admit jam bands are known for recycling motifs and such but Bisco is so stale at this point.
Don't get me wrong, if they came back to NOLA or BR I'd go see them (that Tips late night Jazz Fest show in 08 was fun as hell) but that's about it.

I swear. Every time a jamband gets mentioned on a message board it turns into a 10 page thread about band A vs band B. it never fails. Bisco vs phish, phish vs panic, dead vs phish. It's crazy.

ranking the bands is fricking stupid. i think phish are better at some things but they dont have electric fusion. umphreys has the best guitarist out of all the jam bands right now. Lotus probably has the best bassist. Biscuits have the best drummer by far. They all have different strengths. I honestly can't rank one ahead of the other except panic cause they fricking suck.
