Is that what Ron Jeremy is up to nowadays?

I dunno man I think it takes attentive listening. I mean I guess it could be background music but then you miss a lot of the beauty of it.

One of my all time favorites. Ocean Songs is likely in my top 10 of all time albums. Warren Ellis & Nick Cave scores are some of my favorites.

oh man, i knew i shouldn't have gone there, given the chance someone might actually ask for said list. so, the best i think i can do is probably list 10 of the most influential albums that came around at about the same time as i did.

so most of these albums were released while i was in high school, a few might have been a bit before, but i listened to them all non-stop during those years when you really start to develop your own personality/interests separate from your peers. And these albums were always there along the way, so....in no particular order:

bonnie 'prince' billy - i see a darkness (1999)

dirty three - ocean songs (1998)

elliott smith - s/t (1995)

mogwaid - young team (1997)

3 mile pilot - another desert, another sea (1997)


modest mouse - long drive for someone with nothing to think about (1996)

radiohead - ok computer (1997)

good list. MYT or their EP+(2 or 6) is top of mine. I’ll have to think on the rest.
