Enjoyed the show. It was a little soft rock for me, and a little too noodles. Mayer is a hell of a guitarist but I can't stand the guys presence. A couple times Bobby was actually playing some nice little lead stuff and Mayer just walked all over him. Smokestack with GPJ was cool but the set list was what I would call safe. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night all in all.

Lol, I mean what were you expecting? Not exactly a night at the opera.

It is still crazy and hilarious talking to all these wooks who actually tour with this band. To each his own I guess...

There were a few bumps (terrible transition into Sugaree for example) but that show fricking smoked. Mickey might be my mvp, he was fired up baw. Before giving it a relisten, I'd say 8.9/10

I thought it was a great show. Was in the pit about 15’ out from stage. There were a few times where I thought they might have broken down a little and a few guitar swaps that looked unexpected. Though it may have been me and the fungi misinterpreting shite.

Saw one dude collapse during Stella. Had to get carried out by his friends. What a tool. Another guy almost started a fight about not letting people walk past him.

I fricking love Oteil. He needs to sing more.

Had the best time last night. Sugaree was prob my favorite part. Couldn’t seem to get away from the tanks afterwards.

and Mickey knocked one of his gadgets off the stage during drums, that was pretty funny.
about the balloons, I realize it's been part of the scene for a while but I just remember it being more marginal, even recently

last night it was everywhere you went, you couldn't get away from it. And grown men too, not just dirt people and idiot kids. Really disappointing

They weren’t even trying to be discreet -just straight up standing on the corner of loyola handing them out like candy.

Pearl clutching over balloons while it’s raining acid outside

I thought the show was fun, both sets were finished well and no real beefs other than maybe the sound where I was sitting. Mayer isn’t a stylistic fit but I can’t complain bc I knew he’d be in there before I bought tix.

They should let Oteil sing the jerry parts that Bobby doesn’t take, Mayer croonin lost sailor damn near put me under. Leave JM the Donna Jean and Brent parts IMO

Overall, Mayer didn't sing that much, which is good.
