I really enjoy some of their stuff and they put on a pretty good show. When My Time Comes is a great song. I've been meaning to listen to their new album.

It doesn't get better than North Hills for me. That may be because it came to me at a specific time in my life and will forever be associated with that.

I don't see the appeal. Went to the show at the Shaw Center because Isbell was opening. Isbell was awesome, as always. But we left after 3-4 Dawes songs, he just didn't do it for me.

they are incredible. their new album is really good. kind of a sleeper record though.

Love Dawes. Just jump in, some stuff is hit or miss.
I will say, perhaps more than any other band I enjoy, that Dawes tracks that don't do it for me at first tend to grow on me.

Ive been a big fan of these guys, but bought the new LP a couple of months ago and it sat in the shrink wrap since... Finally started listening this week... What took me so damn long?!?! Solid as always...

Yeah man. It's a FANTASTIC album. Lot of people sleeping on it. One of the best records of the year. I think they are a better band now with the loss of their other guitarist.

Ive never seen them with two guitarists... was he new?
It was always the four piece band, when Ive seen them over the years...
edit: crap, just read that Tay (keys) left the band last month... loved what he brought
