Come on Feel the Noize is a Slade original, that Quiet Riot covered first.

I didnt even know Twisted Sister covered it (the videos on youtube that say TS are actually QR)...

I'm listening to this for the first time after reading your post...thank you. Whoa...a very nice version with great guitar action...but it would hardly replace the original (imo).

Ryan Adams - Wasted Years (Iron Maiden)

It's not a complete cover, only a verse and chorus, but it is a very very good version.

I'm a big Duane fan. When he goes off at the end, it makes it better imo. I really like picketts voice. His screaming at the end is a little over the top, but I tune that out and just hear Duane. It is one of the only Beatles songs I can think of that I enjoy the cover more.
