There was also a punkish sped up version of Leavin On a Jet Plane that I liked better than the original, but I don't know who actually did it.

Kidding aside, one of my favorite bands - the Residents, are originally from Shreveport, LA.

It's music which has heavily influenced Primus.

I knew that Claypool was a fan of theirs and referred to them as an influence. Pretty cool that a band that progressive hails from Shreveport.
