I listen to more than just country!
Next Friday night I'm either going to Matt Nathanson's SX show or I'm heading to San Antonio for the American Aquarium/Turnpike Troubadours show (saw AA again last night and they were excellent, as always). However, I will probably try to make the Saturday show. I love Auditorium Shores.

Saw them at the Varsity. HeyPaul recognizes my LSU music notes-shirt: "Hey Fat Man, buy me a beer" and so I did, then he bought me one. Then I bought him one.... was not a good plan.
Musically, they were very tight. Lyrically, they're very good. And a great energy.

I convinced the club I worked at to book Corey Smith back in 2009, now they bring him in for all of their multi day events.
I'm a fan, but he always seemed like a pretty genuine guy to me. Only act I've ever seen buy fans drinks after the show.

same here. He's recorded 8 albums, written 60+ songs. But at his shows he's sort of expected to play the early, popular stuff (21, If I could do it again) .. so the knock against him is his material hasn't grown as he's aged.
He's not edgy, but he is genuine.
