Anyone else make it to the show last night?
Absolutely incredible. Crazy to see how far he's come. Always awesome to see guys play that you can tell how much it means to them to be there. Can't imagine him not getting an invite to come back next year.
Had a George Strait exit hauling arse on a horse around the arena, hat throw and all.

He puts on a great show. I watched him play for about 30 people when he headlined the Texas Club a year or so ago. 60,000 in attendance last night in Houston.

From my hometown...one of friends from high school was in his band for awhile. Said he is a really good guy.

One of my new favorites. Hope he never sells out and goes the Eli Young Band or Josh Abbott route.
He needs to come back to Baton Rouge.

I didn't know much about him outside of his cover song, but he was phenomenal. When the whole crowd had the lights on... You could tell he was really moved.
I'm going to give him a listen after tonight.

Wanted to go see Stapleton but I planned poorly.

I enjoyed CJB more, but thats because of the emotional factor of watching him from the start.
Stapleton exceeded my already sky high expectations. I could hear the crowd over him during Nobody to Blame and he was turned all the way up
Fire away was phenomenal, and the lights were a really cool touch. The dude can just flat belt it out.
I've been impressed by all three shows so far.

Cody Johnson May 13, Texas Club. We have been working hard to get Cody established in this market. Great guy and great show.

Yeah "Fire Away" was incredible. Believe it or not he didn't even get to play 2 of my fav songs of his just cause rodeo shows are a lot shorter than a normal concert so I absolutely recommend listening to it. I can't imagine seeing him in a close quarters environment.
He is exactly what people on this board wish country music would be like instead of the bro country bullshite

Saw him at a half-full Texas Club about two months before the award show when he blew up. There was no doubt in my mind he'd make it some day, somehow. He was phenomenal. I go to a lot of shows and that may have been the best.
