In Detroit for work. Pretty short trip this time so the timing is incredibly lucky. Got tickets on the floor. Amazing looking venue. Capacity 2,900. Stoner is the opener.

Setlist from Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore last night is stellar of course. Tons of old deep cuts. Vast majority of the songs in fact are quite old.

Crazy but true back story as well... Back in May when this 5 show leg was announced I sent a screenshot of it to my buddy in Baton Rouge who I saw Clutch at the Varsity with in 2019. He’s a big Stoner fan as well. Out of the blue he texted back “I bet that Detroit show will be badass” and I agreed 100%. Fast forward and here I am for work and he’s flying up. Gonna be a big time.

I saw MC5 50th Anniversary (MC50) there in 2018... It was fricking great... Easy Action opened..

Saw many concerts there in the 80's when it was called the State Theatre.Always had main floor tix,it is a great venue to see a band.

It was a very cool old venue.... found a pic from that night.. I vividly remember 2 things:

1) The line was about 6 city blocks long (winding and wrapped)
2) I was in my mid-40s and I never felt so young at a show
