Just phenomenal. It’s such a breath of fresh air to hear music like this being produced today. Hopefully radio will get on board and get these guys the attention they deserve.
Looks like this is gonna be the single…..
The Shadow
18 minutes of prog rock bliss…..
Starlifter: Fearless Pt.II

Thanks for the recommendation. Listened to both YouTube links. Have their latest album queued up for a listen tomorrow on Qobuz.

The music is cool and I absolutely love rush but it seems like they’re trying to just imitate rush instead of doing their own thing. Still good tho. Fitting they toured with GVF who is basically a led zep copycat

Fearless Pt 1 & 2 are both tributes to Rush, so that makes sense. I just think it’s incredible that a duo makes that sound. Theres a live version I’ll post that is great. The fact they can duplicate that is impressive. The Shadow doesn’t sound like Rush to me, but like early 80s metal like Dio. Some of the other stuff sounds more like Zepp. They’re very creative and hard to put in a copycat box imo.
Funny thing is they’ve explicitly said the only reason they were signed was because of the success of GVF. I’m not really a fan of GVF simply because they’re not very good musicians. These guys are a different animal. Maybe if we all start supporting these bands it can be a rising tides raises all ships type thing and we can start a resurgence of real modern rock music with more bands getting heard and signed. Fingers crossed.

Vocals sound like Triumph to me more so than Rush.

Thanks for clarifying I did not realize that

That's really impressive work. Thanks. I would love to see what they could do with an actual trio. As impressive as what Comeau does on the double neck guitar/bass + keyboards is, I'd like to hear both incorporated more fully instead of one or the other. To follow the Rush path, they need a "new guy".
Still, kind of nitpicking what is a great act. I had listened to some of their stuff previously, probably from your suggestion, but hadn't heard the new record. Thanks!

I saw them open for GVF. They put on a solid show. They have some bizarre political stances in their lyrics concerning some kind of Native American transgender gay spirit thing they believe in. But the music is solid.
