Oh hell yes with 'Paul's Boutique'...how the hell did I not think of that one? Great call.

As far as the Black Crowes, I do prefer 'Amorica' over 'Southern Harmony...' by a hair, which IMO may be a little more applicable to the topic...'Harmony' was a monster seller in its own right, plus most people would probably agree that it was superior to the debut...

This is a hard one. "Landmark" albums on one hand, are awesome but overplayed. For that reason I'll go with Rush.
Being a Rush fan, I prefer "Signals" to "Moving Pictures".

Iron Maiden piece of mind is better than number of the beast to me. However both are godlike.

Judas priest Defenders of the Faith is 10 times better than the more famous screaming for vengeance.

Skid row slave to the grind over the s/t

RHCP By the way to me is better than Californication however they are both awesome

Like others have said... agree with STP second album being better and Rushes signals I liked better than moving pictures.

I'm going to go a different route with this, (seeing how Parrotheads are underrepresented on this board).

This was considered Buffett's first classic album:

However, the follow up was just as good, if not better:
