His debut album that swept the Grammys back in 1979 is one of my all time favorites...it gets played about 5 times a year.

I heard the back story on sailing on howard stern and its pretty good. No surprise, it is literally about sailing.

Unlike "Ride Like the Wind" which he wrote on acid.

Thought that type of music was so soft and uncool when I was younger. I guess I am getting old because I really can appreciate how good the music is now.

Puts me in nostalgic mood for my lost youth. Love it.

Should have never clicked on this thread. Now I can't get Arthur's Theme out of my head.

"The Light Is On" is my favorite cut.

“I really don’t know anymore” is one of my favs by him.
I still love his tunes. A few times a year I’ll break em out. Yacht Rock at its finest.
Still touring btw. Go out of your way to find the story of how he played guitar for Deep Purple one show.

It's this Friday. I just looked. Well shite, I may need to check this out. Sailing and Arthur songs have been permanently implanted in my mind from childhood.
