Chris Cornell Cover of Patience by Guns N Roses

I wish he'd just done this acoustic because the lame Incubus-esque music ruins the track. That said, always good to hear some new Cornell.

Heard the Patience cover for the first time this morning and he was amazing as usual. The more I listen to him sing, the more I enjoy his voice.

He was definitely a gut punch for me. He was on my list of “next time he’s in the state” I’m gonna see him.
I passed on his most recent prior show and a Soundgarden or Temple of the Dog reunion show.
I also passed on John Prine in a theater in Austin.

Yeah - I don't like it. Would have been much better if it was just Cornell and his guitar

I was listening to 4th of July daily after my dad died that May. Chris died a few weeks later.
