I liked them both initially and still do to some extent. I just don't get Sturgill's last album. Doesn't do anything for me.
Childers the same way. Purgatory was awesome but I just don't like Country Squire. I wasn't too impressed after seeing him at Hogs for the Cause either.
I would take the latest Cody Jinks album over either of the latest releases from Childers or Sturgill.

Lol. His live show and band are awesome. Saw him twice this year and might catch another show before 2019 is over. Im not a country music fan for the most part either, dudes just real.

Maybe I went with high expectations and was just let down. I'm honestly not trying to troll either. Just wasn't impressed.

Jinks is great and I’ve enjoyed his latest records but I think Sturgill and Tyler are far more creative as artists.
