It was in the encore, they played "The Red" and then "Face To The Floor".

Wish I knew all of the songs they played. I'm new to Chevelle. Still enjoyed the show they were badass.

So are you having fun trying to be a troll while we actually did something worthwhile and saw a kickass live concert?

I uploaded the videos. I'll post them all after they process.

Seeing Chevelle live in 2012 and not 1999 is the opposite of worthwhile.

Well I'm glad I don't have the same music taste as you. You should go back to posting on the grass fairies board.

I didn't make it to this show, but I caught them at the HOB back in November and I enjoyed myself. I'm not a big Chevelle fan, but I heard they put on a good show and they certainly didn't disappoint.

A tragedy that they played nothing from their first album. It was, trust me, their best. It sounded like three dudes jamming in a garage. Their subsequent material just didn't cut it the same for me and yes, I tried.

There are two types of Chevelle fans...those who heard Point #1 and those who haven't; those who are 30-35 who first heard Chevelle on KLSU and went and bought the album on Highland next door to Subway and those who are 20-25 and heard RED on a video game and downloaded it to Itunes.

It's funny is all; a band like them transcending time like that.

Agreed. I'm a fan from the beginning. Older stuff is definitely the best.

Point #1 and Mia are still two of my favorite songs. I think they played Point #1 at their free concert in Nola last year.

They rarely play anything from the first album live. When I saw them in 05 at the TC they didn't play one song from that album and they only had 3 albums at the time including that one. I agree, it's a great album but I like their other stuff too.

I know it was a rock concert but in my opinion the opening band "Dead Sara" was too much to open for Chevelle. They were so loud people in front of me had their fingers in their ears. That bitch screamed her head off and Chevelle seemed calm in comparison. I did like Dead Sara and that Weatherman song but I was ready for the screaming to stop.

As a new Chevelle fan I enjoyed the show I just wish I knew their music better prior to the concert. The more Chevelle music I listen to the more I like them. I can't wait to see them again.

Point #1 has a more raw sound to it. Their first album was definitely their best IMO but there are a few good songs on their later stuff.

I agree with all of this. It was too loud. Chevelle had it loud enough to where you could jam your arse off but there's was just overkill. A couple of their songs were good though. I really enjoyed New Medicine and the fact that they were playing on the other band's instruments is pretty incredible as well.

Glad you enjoyed Chevelle. They are easily my favorite band and they did not disappoint live.

point#1 is a great album, but i don't understand some of the hate. thier sound has changed some, but for the most part they've stayed true more than any other modern rock band i can think of.

i mean, they didn't "Incubus" or anything.

THIS!! I think only fans that know 1 or 2 songs by Chevelle are the ones who complain of the sound change. They have a pretty uniform sound through their records IMO, and I own all of them. They're definitely no sellouts
